Refund Policy
We want you happy with what you get from us. Here's exactly how refunds and cancellations work.
Last updated: August 5, 2026
Free things are free
The 15-minute consultation, the Magic Scan, the games, Merlin and any free training cost nothing, so there's nothing to refund.
Digital products and courses
Paid digital products, courses and templates come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If it isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full — no hoops. After 14 days, purchases are final.
Our satisfaction guarantee (72 hours, per work period)
Everything we do is sold as an individual work period: one hourly session, one Launch Something project, or one $2,500 custom build week. The guarantee applies to the work period you just paid for.
- Request within 72 hours of the session, the Launch Something delivery, or the end of that individual build week.
- Hourly work is refundable one session at a time.
- A Launch Something project is refundable only for that specific project.
- Custom-system development is purchased one $2,500 build week at a time. Clients never prepay for multiple build weeks. If you were happy with Week 1 and later unhappy with Week 2, only Week 2 may qualify.
- Completed and accepted work periods are not retroactively refundable.
- Refunded work can't be kept. If a work period is refunded, the new work created during that period can't be used, published or deployed. Everything you previously paid for remains yours.
- Third-party expenses — domains, hosting, APIs, software, licenses, advertising and transaction fees — aren't refundable by The Tech Wizards.
A refunded custom build week normally ends the project, unless both sides independently decide to start a new paid work period together. Either way, we hand off everything you previously paid for that can reasonably be transferred.
Estimates are not packages
During the free 15-minute consultation we may estimate how many build weeks something is likely to take. That's a roadmap, not a purchase. When a paid work period ends, development stops unless you choose to authorize and pay for another one.
Hosting, maintenance and ongoing plans
Hosting and maintenance keep an existing build running and are separate from new development work. Ongoing plans can be cancelled at any time and will stop at the end of the current billing period. We don't pro-rate partial months, but we also won't charge you again after you cancel.
Older packages and payment plans
If you bought one of our earlier packages or you're on an agreed payment plan, the terms you agreed to at the time still apply. Nothing here changes an existing arrangement.
Third-party purchases
If you buy software or a course from another company through a link on our site, that company's refund policy applies — not ours. We're happy to point you in the right direction.
How to request a refund
Email wizard@thetechwizards.io with your name, what you purchased and the date. We'll reply within 3 business days, and approved refunds are returned to your original payment method — usually within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Chargebacks
Please talk to us first. Almost everything can be sorted out with one email, and we'd much rather fix the problem than fight over a chargeback.
